Cassie’s health became worse and worse every day - plagued with bouts of cancer, heart related issues, and urinary incontinence, we finally made the heart-breaking and painful decision to let her go. Cassie died yesterday at around 3:00 p.m. in my arms. I loved that dog dearly and I will miss her terribly. It is amazing how a dog can come in and change your life and open your heart so much.

Just wanted to let everyone know.

Well, in case ya’ll haven’t heard the news - we’ve got a new Foreign Exchange Student from Pakistan. Her name is Syeda (Sigh-ee-dah) and you’ll get to meet her when we come home for the family reunion. She’s slowly assimilating - foods here are much much different as well as dress. She and I went out on Monday and loaded her up on some cute clothes to wear to school. She’s a sweet heart and very excited to get to know all her new “Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins” (she calls me Mom already)!!!
